Calonge-Ruiz Arquitectos is a firm founded in 1995 by Carlos Calonge and Inmaculada Ruiz, who had been working as associate architects since 1993. Since then, we have completed residential projects, public buildings, public works, urban planning projects, and provided consulting services to local governments.
Since 2022, Carlos Calonge has been running the firm on his own and has introduced new areas of practice, such as energy-efficient building retrofits, while continuing to work on new public and private construction projects and participating in design competitions, either independently or in collaboration with other architects.
In all our projects, we seek to integrate references to vernacular architecture with the exploration of new forms and technologies, creating architecture that is simple, well-built, and in harmony with its surroundings.

We also have extensive experience in the design of multi-family residential buildings. From small residential developments to large housing complexes, we have carried out projects of varying scales and complexities, which has allowed us to gain a deep understanding of the needs of this type of building.
